Hoke County
Hoke County was formed in 1911 from parts of Cumberland County and Robeson County. It was named for Robert F. Hoke, a Confederate general in the American Civil War. The county has a total area 391 square miles and is minutes from Fayetteville, Southern Pines and Ft. Bragg. It is home to the Ft. Bragg Military Reservation. Hoke County offers one of the lowest tax rates in the surrounding area.
